Your Mid-Month Spark: Let’s Simplify the Rest of June
Hey there,
How’s your June shaping up? Around here, the days are warm, the schedules are full, and simplicity feels more like a wish than a reality. But let’s shift that, shall we?
Whether you're soaking up the sunshine or juggling a dozen to-dos, I pulled together five quick, real-life tips to help you find your footing again, without the overwhelm.
5 Mid-June Reset Tips That Actually Make a Difference
1. The "One-More" Reset Rule:
Before bed, ask yourself: What’s one more thing I can reset right now?
Maybe it’s clearing the kitchen island, laying out tomorrow’s outfit, or refilling the dog bowl.
One small win can shift the whole tone for tomorrow.
For me, simply setting out my outfit the night before makes a big difference—especially on those mornings when time always seems to disappear.
2. The Two-Song Clean-Up:
Turn on two of your favorite songs and tidy up as much as you can before they’re over.
It’s a fast, no-pressure way to feel productive—and dance it out a little too.
I love music—it’s instant stress relief for me—so this quick reset always lifts my mood and gets things done without feeling like a chore.
3. The No-Reply Text Hour:
Take one hour to reply to all the texts, emails, or DMs you’ve been mentally answering all week.
It’s not always easy to sit down and do it—but when I actually follow through, it feels like a quick mental vacation.
Clear the clutter, hit send, and breathe—you’re caught up and off the hook.
4. The No-Cook Dinner Stack:
Keep a 3-item “no-cook” meal list on your fridge—think hummus, chopped veggies, and naan or crackers.
Last night, our son was at work, so my husband and I kept it simple with cheese, salami, and crackers on the porch.
It was easy, relaxed, and exactly what we needed.
When the kitchen feels like too much, grab from your list and move on with your evening—no stress, no cleanup.
5. The 3-Minute Sunshine Reset:
Step outside—even if it’s just the porch—and take three full minutes to pause, breathe, and soak in a little sunlight.
It’s a quick, mid-month energy boost that’s always free and always worth it.
This one’s my personal favorite—I try to sneak it in between meetings during the week, and it always helps me reset.
