Our Monthly Spark | June Edition
June's here—slow down, savor, and maybe freshen up your space too?
Hey friend,
Was it just me, or did May feel like a sprint?
Between end-of-year school events, graduation invites, and figuring out how to keep sunscreen in every bag, I nearly forgot that summer is supposed to feel… lighter.
But here we are—June. The gateway to a season we’ve been prepping for in small ways all spring. And now, the to-do lists can loosen. The days stretch out. It’s time to enjoy the season we’ve worked for.
This month, I’m leaning into the small summer joys. Like:
Letting the kids sleep in while I sip tea outside (alone! imagine that).
Saying yes to more ice cream outings after dinner because—why not?
Putting down the phone for a whole afternoon and being present where I am.
None of it is fancy. All of it is intentional.
Sometimes we treat joy like something we have to earn—after the house is clean, the inbox is clear, the schedule is synced. But I’m starting to think joy doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It shows up when we let it.
So here’s your gentle nudge: let this be the month you pause the hustle and lean into the moment. Open the windows. Say yes to less. Notice how good the season feels when you stop trying to manage it and live it.
5 Tips to Make June Feel Just Right:
Travel: Pack a “go” bag with sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and a spare charger—you’ll thank yourself on those spontaneous adventure days.
Home: Pick one space to reset each week. Our Whole Home Cleaning Checklist makes it easy to clean just enough to feel fresh, without feeling overwhelmed.
Self-Care: Swap one scroll session for a short walk, journal page, or stretch. You’ll feel more present without even trying.
Leisure: Schedule unstructured time—yes, actually write it in your planner. It’s the best kind of productivity.
Work: Consider setting summer hours if possible. Even having one early wrap-up day a week can help restore balance.
Spark for the month: You’ve already done the hard work of getting here. Now is the time to enjoy it.

Here’s to soaking it all in,
Jaime
