Your Mid-Month Spark: Get Motivated in September
Feeling Energized and Wanting You to Be Too
If I had to give you one word to describe how I’m feeling today, it would be energized.
Between working on our membership, podcast, and courses alongside the blog, this season has been full of creativity and growth. It’s been so fun, and I want every woman out there to feel the same spark by trying something new this month.
Now, I don’t mean you need to start a new career or jump into a side hustle (unless you want to!). Sometimes, the most rewarding changes come from picking up a hobby or activity you’ve been hesitant to do, something that’s been tugging at you but you’ve put off because life has been “too busy.”
This past year, I’ve learned more than I have in the past ten, simply by saying yes to new experiences. And I want the same for you.
Here are two simple tips to get started:
1. Choose something small but meaningful.
Don’t overcomplicate it. Maybe it’s trying a new recipe, joining a local fitness class, planting fall mums in your yard, or finally signing up for that painting night you’ve been eyeing. The key is picking something that excites you without adding stress.
2. Invite connection into the experience.
New things feel easier (and more fun) when shared. Bring a friend along, join a group, or share your experience online. Connection keeps you accountable, but more importantly, it makes the experience richer.
If you’re looking for a space to connect with other women who are also diving into new seasons, I’d love for you to join the founding members of Second Act Simplified. It’s a place where we can grow, learn, and support one another through the messy middle and the exciting new.
And since September hasn’t exactly slowed down as much as I expected (between a 4-day work trip, Cedar Point Halloweekends, time with our granddaughter, and waiting for the arrival of our grandson next week); I’m reminded more than ever that life is full, but there’s always room to try something new.
Here’s to saying yes to what’s next.
Jaime
P.S. New beginnings are always better with friends. I’d love for you to be part of our founding members of Second Act Simplified. Let’s step into this season together.
This season does not have to run you ragged. I built a set of seven simple digital helpers that act like your own behind-the-scenes support team. They handle the stressful stuff: cards, boundaries, gifts, cleaning, deadlines, meals, so you can focus on the parts of the season that actually bring joy.
You do not need to be tech savvy. Think of them as friendly guides that give you quick, clear answers when you are stuck. And if you are nervous about trying AI, reply to this email and I will walk you through it myself.
